How GeniiDeals Makes Money
GeniiDeals is free for shoppers. The site earns money from labeled sponsor packages and featured placements bought by brands.
Last updated: 29 October 2026
What shoppers pay
Browsing deals, opening store pages, copying coupon codes, and saving favorites does not require a paid membership. Community members can also submit a deal without buying a package.
Sponsor packages and placements
Brands pay for sponsor packages. Those packages cover placements such as homepage promotion, sponsored deals, and sponsored coupons. Package requests are reviewed before a brand is subscribed.
The public Sponsor Packages page lists the placements a brand can buy. The Advertise page is where a brand asks about a partnership. This is the revenue described in the Terms & Conditions: GeniiDeals may earn fees from brands for featured placements.
How paid offers are labeled
A sponsored deal or coupon is marked as sponsored on the listing. Community submissions are not given that label. Paying for a placement does not by itself turn on the “Verified on GeniiDeals” flag. That flag is set by staff.
Sponsor-account submissions still wait for moderator or admin approval before they are public, the same pending step that applies to community submissions.
Money guides and commercial links
Money guides are editorial pages. When a guide links to a GeniiDeals deals or best-offers page, that link stays on GeniiDeals. It is a way to find related offers on this site, not a statement that GeniiDeals is paid by the bank named in the article.
Fees, profit rates, and eligibility in those guides are the figures stored in the editorial content, with a last-updated date. They can differ from a bank’s current schedule of charges. Confirm the product with the provider before you apply. GeniiDeals does not take applications and does not earn a disclosed commission on an account or card you open.
What payment does not change
- A sponsor fee does not skip moderation for sponsor-account submissions.
- A sponsor fee does not mean the code was tested at checkout.
- Shoppers are not charged to read a deal, a coupon, or a Money guide.
- The editorial policy explains the labels and the Money sourcing method in more detail.
